Good Vibrations | Artist in Residence, Roxie Sarhangi
Close your eyes and imagine yourself resting comfortably in a soothing white space, fully immersed in beautiful sounds that are healing to your mind, body and soul. You feel relaxed. You feel at peace. You are in an acoustic sound bath at The Culver Hotel.
As part of our Artist In Residence series, we have partnered with the amazing Roxie Sarhangi, a certified sound healing practitioner and painter, to offer our guests a soulful experience combining acoustic baths with serene artworks.
Sound healing, also known as vibrational medicine, is an ancient practice that uses the power of sound to restore one’s mind, body and spirit back to a state of balance. The harmonic vibration created by Roxie’s instruments—crystal bowls, koshi chimes, a symphonic gong, and an ocean drum—have a deep penetrating effect that soothe, stimulate healing and overall well-being. This form of meditation and modern mindfulness is known to induce deep relaxation, decrease stress and anxiety, improve sleep, release blocked emotions, and create a sense of peace.
If you have an open mind and a full heart, do not miss Roxie’s next class. Stay tuned to our Happenings page for details on upcoming sound baths or contact us to schedule a private session. Namaste.
